India is a homophobic country, remotely because they are used to ‘straight’ people being around. maybe there’s a reason for “straight” people to not come out of the closet and let the world know about their identity. being gay, or lesbian or transgender is not a bad thing.
why i am ranting out here is because i saw a young kid, probably in his 20s, being teased and made fun off for being gay, or liking girly things.the next day, in the news paper i get to know that he tried to kill himself due to the bullying. Everyone has their choices, and india being a democratic country gives its people to practice their choices and voice out their opinions. Do not torture people just because there is a momentary fun coming out of it,it scars other people for life and leads them to taking such harsh decisions.
