“Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow” is the United Nation’s theme for observing Women’s Day -2022. It goes without saying that there is no future possible without women and the role of women in sustainable future is absolutely indisputable.
We take privilege in promoting the noble cause and theme to commemorate and celebrate the exemplary contribution of women leaders who have undertaken significant accomplishments in managing climate change, energy, and environment; inspiring the world for sustainable development.
While everyone else is advocating Equality for Women, we at Women-ID urge women to look beyond and discover their own Individual Distinctness. No doubt equality and empowerment are necessary but we believe that the real way forward for a sustainable future is to identify and develop women’s inherent and unique identity.
