Accelerate Action to help women develop their unique identity

March 8, 2025, isn’t just another International Women’s Day—it’s a wake-up call. This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action,” reminds us that change isn’t happening fast enough. Women around the world are still battling the same systemic biases, gender preferences, and leadership barriers that should have been eradicated long ago. Progress is moving at a snail’s pace when it should be sprinting.

If we truly want to see beyond gender equality in our lifetimes, we need to stop celebrating small wins and start demanding bigger, bolder, and faster action.

    The Fight is Also Personal

This isn’t just about good career- it’s about safety, freedom, and respect. Around the world, women’s rights are under attack. Reports show a 50% increase in sexual violence in conflict zones. Governments that once championed women’s rights are rolling them back. And yet, some still ask: “is it necessary to accelerate action?”

Until a woman can walk home at night without gripping her keys like a weapon, yes, it is. Until girls everywhere have the right to education, yes, it is. Until we stop asking rape victims what they were wearing, yes, it is.

No More Slow Progress—We Need a Thought Revolution

“Accelerate Action” isn’t just a slogan—it’s a call to arms. It means pushing corporates to support women at workplace. It means demanding governments to pass laws that protect women’s rights. It means men stepping up—not just as allies, but as active participants in dismantling the systems that primarily benefit them.

Change doesn’t happen by waiting. It happens by making noise, by refusing to accept the status quo, by accelerating the mission of helping women develop their unique identity that can no longer be ignored.

So, this International Women’s Day, let’s stop asking for change nicely. Let’s demand it—loudly, unapologetically, and urgently. The time is now.
